Sunday, July 11, 2010 (Rain or Shine)
Distance: 14, 43, 74, or 100 mile routes
Course: Beautiful scenic routes through the rolling back roads of Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties. All routes are carefully marked and mapped on low-traffic roads. All routes have hills. The 74 and 100 mile routes are suggested for assertive, well conditioned riders.
Rest Stops: There will be rest stops at various points along the four different routes. Each rest stop (manned by staff) will be equipped with bathroom, water, and varieties of quick energy foods.
Cost: Pre-Registration: $23.00, Day-of Registration: $25.00
The first 300 riders will get a Heatstroke T-Shirt free of charge.
Start Check-in: Packet pickup/registration/Check-in: 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM (100 and 74 milers must start by 8:00 am). All riders must check-in and/or register at Bob's Pedal Pusher Bike Shop, 466 S. Pine Street (Hwy 83) just two blocks south of the Dairy Queen. Park in big lot next door or school parking lot two blocks west. You can get a map, directions, or aerial photo from Mapquest here. Some general directions are also available at the bottom of this page. All riders must finish by 4:00 PM. Please take this into account when choosing your route and departure time.
Sag Wagon: Bicyclists will only be transported by the sag wagon in case of medical emergencies and/or mechanical breakdowns. A tired cyclist is not considered an emergency. Please choose a route in accordance with your physical abilities. Each rider is strongly encouraged to carry a water bottle, tube and patch kit, and to wear a protective helmet.

From Chicago Area: (90 North of O'Hare)
I94 north to Wisconsin
Exit Hwy 50 east (left)
Take Hwy 83 north (right) all the way to Burlington
Bob's Pedal Pusher Bike Shop is on the right as you enter Burlington
From Hales Corners: (30 Minutes south of Hales Corners)
Hwy 36 south out of Hales Corners all the way to Burlington.
Stay in the left lane once you enter Burlington.
Take Hwy 83 south (veer left) This is the Railroad Overpass
At the end of the Overpass turn left at the lights - still on Hwy 83
Bob's Pedal Pusher Bike Shop is on the left one block down.
